One more cheesy mashup from The King Of Cheese LOL (hi-five to Dylan Vasey and Mashstix for the cheesy nick ;))....which should be my final mashup this year.
I was trying to take advice to improve the quality of my mashups by getting rid of repitching too much, so I picked sources with similar chords. Although I still can't help myself from causing some genre clash.
Anyways, it contains

So please excuse the quality of the DIY acapella (the tune sounds right to me, I can't help releasing this mashup), since as far as I remember, there's no Indonesian musicians ever release the acapella version of a track, neither instrumental added on maxi-single CD to make it easier for us DJs to knockout and extract an OK DIY pella.
Friends suggest me to think twice before releasing this track until I find the better pella, which I know there'll never be.... But I love this combination too much I'm releasing it anyway.
The second and third reasons are ..to encourage other Indonesians bootlegger to create something the world can hear, and also to introduce Indonesian music to the world.

I started with a feeling to mash these two tracks which are Don't Tell Me by Madonna and Listen To Your Heart, a Roxette cover done by DHT.
Shame, this very short acapella has left too much of the instrumental which I feel bad to cut off.
Trying hard to find more pellas which don't only match in tune but also make sense lyrically, I almost got myself stuck on Please Don't Go by Brown Boy, that sounds like Chipmunks after I pitched it up like hell to match the instrumental's key. Meanwhile, It Wasn't Me by Shaggy tunes better. Except the song sounds like the lovers are breaking up after the guy humped around with their neighbor. D'oh!
Anyways, here's the final result of this mashup with these tracks used as mentioned above. I hate to tell you that this may be the first mashup I've done out from the heart.
So.... for you, brokenhearteds, it's up to you to shamelessly think that I made this mash specially for you. When you no more believe in listening to your heart, just listen to this track instead, you'd feel better.......or worse (LOL) , I guarantee. ;)

The not-so-satisfying part in making this mashup is the difficulty of finding original instrumental & acapella of Heart's Alone.
Stretching "Girls On Film" from its original BPM to the slow tempo of "Alone" was not too easy until Dylan show me a better software to change tempo of a track without too much distorted result. It surprisingly solved the problem just like magix/c. ;) (Thanks, Dyl).
Also it's a little bit tricky thinking about the title for this track, for "Alone Girls On Film" or "Girls On Film Alone" might sound like two titles combined together, except it has no word "VS".
I thought about "Lonely Girls On Film" but it might sound like Duran Duran VS Akon instead of Heart (Thanks for my friend Novi, the english teacher who convinces me that "Girls Alone On Film" makes enough sense based on the english structure & grammar and whatsoever in the books so many in her bedroom you might not believe that the bedroom actually does have wall) :)).
Anyways, back to "Lonely Girls On Film", It also can't help me from thinking of two chicks captured on hidden cam for the cover art. ;) LMFAO

The sound quality is aweful, isn't it?
I searched everywhere but couldn't find the download links of Craig David-Insomnia (acapella) and Jordan Knight-Give It To You (Album Version Instrumental) that I know does exist for sale somewhere,(All i found was only a so-so karaoke of 'Give It To You' with annoying background vocals :-( )
So before I missed my mood to make this mashup, I decided to use knockout method to make DIY instrumental and acapella of the tracks, only to finish this and let you guys know what exactly I wanted to make when I couldn't stop asking you guys if you had JK's instrumental or even ask if you could make a very similar backing track of the song. :-)
Anyways, if you have the original instrumental of Jordan Knight or Acapella of Craig David, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know, feel free to discuss with me about how you would share/trade that with anything I have out of my collections. It would be very helpful to me to redo this mash with appropriate sound quality.
